Some thoughts from Katie (`thesmallwonder)Spring has sprung and April showers have started raining down here at HQ.
Winter rain makes me want to crawl back into bed, get a hot cup of coco, and read a book all day. But there’s something different about April showers...
Maybe it’s because it’s less cold outside, or that the days are longer, but springtime rain makes me want to play in puddles.I want to go outside and smell the fresh air, and I just feel rejuvenated. Spring is a time for me to dust off old projects and start new ones. Forget New Years, April's when I get inspired!

Tea in the RainLets drink tea in the rain,
As the silver trails of steam are teased
And pulled in circles by the wind;
With water gently sifting through our hair
And the lush trees dancing;
Branches coaxed to sway with a gentle grasp
Of the breeze.
Lets play hide and seek with the sun
And sit under an umbrella
Of fresh leaves and lime.
Discover exotic animals
In the pungent orange illusions
Of the huddled bougainvillea flowers.
Lets drink tea in the rain,
To feel the warmth
And the kiss of sugar
On our tongues -
And in our hearts.
Nature
Spring ShowersFlowers decorate the trees,
white against the green spring leaves,
perfume punctuates the breeze
putting on a show.
Petals from the blossoms white,
catch the breeze and taking flight,
twirl and shimmer in the light,
falling down like snow.
RainThe rain against the window
letting me sleep
pulsing in my heart

through my heart
splashing in my mind
making my heart
just a little bit more
colder.
the thunder tightens
lashing into me
lightening
FLASHING
blinding in my mind
angry and cold.
I pretend
I hide
I curse
I lie
You don't see
You don't look
what happened?
what split you and me?
we were
now we're not
gone silent
zero
the rain against my window
letting me sleep
softly caressing
the pain in me

I know hates a strong word, but they do.
But who knows what the rain can bring?
Flowers and puddles and dew.
The rain is a mysterious thing...
Though now I just prefer to listen to it, rain can be very calming at times.
but what I really love of springtime, is that is the life's season!!! there are lots of flowers, and young animals (like the birds) thar appears after the long winter
Spring do inspire me, the blooming of the flowers, trees.. its so colorful..
