Holiday Card Project Delivery by mattdanna Holiday Card Project Delivery by mattdanna

On December 21st, 2006 around 7:00 pm, three deviants and myself delivered over one hundred handmade cards from the 2006 Holiday Card Project. We went to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. They wouldn't let us hand deliver the cards to patients because it was against their privacy codes. Instead, we handed them off to a woman named Mary, who is a staff member of the Family Medicine Department. She was so delighted that artists from around the world made cards for her patients.

Overall, it was a really rewarding and touching experience. I grabbed Dan, Sarah, and Adam to tag along because they are a few deviants that go to my school. I was thinking that they were gonna be really bored, but they ended up thoroughly enjoying the delivery. Thanks to all who made cards. Your hard work has touched many lives!

I used to make cards every holiday and bring them to nursing homes and hospitals. (:
It was beautiful to see how much a simple card can mean to them
